Check out Rachel Robinson's new book Time And Space...I loved it! Excerpt, review and giveaway!!

New Military Romance from Rachel Robinson!
Meet Cody & Lainey in Time and Space.

Several men did Navy SEAL Cody Ridge DIRTY.

Not only did they take his career and his fiancée, they stole everything but his life, and he barely escaped with that.

Cody is back.

As the boss of Ridge Contracting, his life is a blur of adrenaline and endless hours of work. Thriving and successful, he has never forgotten what was taken or who is to blame. His scars run as deep as the hatred in his heart.
Everything Cody lost will be his again. At any cost.

Lainey Rosemont can decorate anything. Your drab bedroom? She’s got it. A rundown shack in the middle of N.Y.C.? Lainey is the woman for the job. Unfortunately her past love life isn’t something she can Feng shui.

She has moved on from her relationship with Cody. It was over--literally buried in the ground. When he comes spiraling back into her life she’s not sure where their limits lie. With her nuptials to the swoony, heartthrob, Navy SEAL, Dax Redding fast approaching Lainey has decisions to make and a past of sinister secrets to confront.

Time changes everything and space apart turns lovers into strangers.

The only thing standing between happily ever after and fate is revenge.

My hands wander down to his forearms. “You want me now today, or forever? Or maybe a time in between those two?”
“Always. Always, Fast Lane. I want you forever. This is hard for me, too. Sharing isn’t a word in my repertoire.” It shouldn’t be in mine either. His gaze darts to the water on the side of my house. My island doesn’t feel as safe as it did five minutes ago.
Focusing on the task at hand, I lean my head against his chest. “I need to break up with Dax.” I don’t need to explain. I owe it to Dax to keep the explanations for him. I feel Cody’s hand in my hair and his kiss on the top of my head.
“I’m sorry for this.” His voice is low and coiled with control. “I’d deal with it if I could. I’d make the pain go away if there was a way.”
I shake my head. “It’s my fault. I never stopped loving you, Cody. I should have. My, God I should have.” I look up to meet his gaze, ice blue, so much like Dax’s.
“He saved me, but you own me.”
With the hands that are still in my hair, he brings my face up to meet with his, our lips touching in the barest flutter of a kiss. Not enough to taste him, but enough to know he’s mine right back. “Be mine again. All mine.” There’s that word again. I think of Dax.
“That’s the problem,” I say, my lips touching his as I speak. “I’ve never not been yours, Cody.” He kisses me madly, profoundly, passionately. Cody takes my hips and pulls me against his erection. It throbs into my stomach, causing my core to clench with desire. Every nerve ending in my body fires. I feel tingly. I feel warm. I feel him.

My Review: (ARC provided)

Five plus stars!!

I’m a huge fan of Crazy Good and Set In Stone so when the opportunity came to read and review Rachel’s new book Time And Space I was so excited.

When you read the first book in a series and it blows you away you usually think the other books will not measure up. Well let me tell you this book exceeded my expectations. Holy sh*t it was good. I think I may have liked it even more if that’s possible.

First of all the characters are flawed but likable, the chemistry is off the charts HOT and the story has real depth. There is not a negative I can say about it.

Let me tell you a little about it. Lainey is trying to live her life after having to bury her fiancé (Cody). It took her three years to move on and accept her current boyfriend Dax's marriage proposal, but she’s never felt the same or been the same person since Cody was killed. Dax is so in love with her and wants to start a life together. He's finally gotten her to commit to marriage but he never thought the one thing or person that could hold Lainey back would reappear. Lainey is confused, Cody is changed but can't let go and Dax just wants to get on with his life, but it isn’t that easy.
"Am I interested in other women? How can I be? In my fucked up mind, I'm still with Lainey."

"Lainey is it for me. Always. There's no moving on after I've had a taste of perfection."

"He saved me, but you own me."

"Sometimes you have to be recklessly heartless in order to realize you own a heart."

This is a very unique love triangle if you even want to call it that. I think we know early on who has Lainey’s heart but there are a lot of obstacles in the way, revenge being priority. Lainey needs to make a choice but it might be made for her.

This is one of those books that literally had my heart racing. It was well written face paced and kept you guessing. The prologue was one of the best I’ve read in a while, the kind that has you immediately drawn in. And there were so many good quotes.

I highly recommend this book. It is a standalone but do yourself a favor and start with Crazy Good, you will not be disappointed.
