There hasn't been a book Lex has written that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. She has everything I want in a romance. I always like her characters; they are sweet, smart, sexy and funny.
Ethan (H) is a hard worker and has worked to achieve everything he has, putting his life on hold for his children and his ranch. He is in the process of a divorce and in need of help.
Tori (h) has been burnt, and in the process let her life for the last year come crumbling down. She wants to help her sister, (Kat from Shameless) who's pregnant.
Tori doesn't realize she's being set up to work for her brother-in-law and sisters friend/neighbor.
They clash, they sizzle, but they will not take it there, or will they? I just loved the buildup to their story. I loved the relationship Tori had with the children and the angst...it was there at the end and had you screaming at the characters and wanting to smack someone.
I love Lex's stories, this is most definitely worth the read.
