Five fantastic stars!!
I have been waiting for this book, and when it appeared on my Kindle,
I squealed a little and did a happy dance. I have been speculating and wanting
in on Charlene (h) and Darren’s (H) relationship from the beginning as I’m sure
most have. Well let me tell you this book did not disappoint at all, it was crazy
funny but emotional and heartwarming as well. I fell hard for Darren, I
always thought Randy was my number one, but
Darren may have just taken the position.
Darren wants his private life private, but being a famous
hockey player makes it hard for him. He’s
always kept a low profile to avoid unnecessary gossip. Charlene has always kept
her men at arm's length, never gotten too
close and doesn’t commit. Fast forward a couple
of years, and Darren and Charlene are still in a relationship with no
real definition.
“Relationships are difficult
for me because I genuinely struggle to understand where the boundaries should
be. Mine were always too close or too far away.”

I want to keep this review simple to avoid any spoilers. I will
say that Darren and Charlene were a surprise,
they both had to get through some tough things in their lives that they have
kept a secret. They both had to let go and take their relationship to the next
level. I am so freaking happy with this book and how it played out. This whole
series has been one of my absolute favorite RomComs, and this book took it to another level. We get to see
the entire group and laugh, and Vi
is a solid secondary character in this book.

and want to go back and read the whole
series over again!
