This book was so cute. I loved both Sydney and Rhett and this one I think was probably my favorite in the series so far. I didn't expect the story to unfold the way it did and I thought it would be much more of a love triangle. Sarah Darlington's books always make you feel good. I enjoy all her books, they are quick, humorous, sexy and sweet. I can usually read one of her books in one sitting and I gobbled this one up.
What happens when playboy Rhett falls in love with someone that's in love with someone else or better yet a memory? He fights. In this book we get a whole different side to Rhett and Sydney's story and they turn out to be my favorite couple. I loved Sydney's attitude and how she called Rhett out all the time. And I loved Rhett's vulnerability with Sydney. They worked as a couple and were great.
I like how Sarah didn't turn this into an angsty love triangle but a book about growth and acceptance. This is such an awesome series and I recommend starting with book one to understand the full story.
I highly recommend this book and think you'll fall in love with Sydney and Rhett like I did.
