Anderson Bexley was the love of my life… or so I thought.

For years, I convinced myself that one day he would see me as more than the bubbly activities director at his family’s campground.

Sure, he was ten years older.

Deeply tortured.

And far too devoted to the family business to make time for his own happiness.

But none of that mattered. Especially during that one blissful night when he was all mine.

I thought our forever had finally begun, but he broke my heart instead.

A year later, I’m moving on.

In a new city.

At a new job.

With a new man.

Add in a promotion that lands me my first big account, and things can’t possibly get better.

Until I hear my first client is none other than Anderson Bexley...

Now, I’m heading back to a place I had once called home.

Back to Camp Bexley.

Back to him.

Only this time, I’m determined to walk away on my own terms… with my heart intact.

Five Stars!

"There's no moving forward, not when she's headed down the opposite path from me."

I was waiting anxiously for this book. After reading Over The Moon I wanted to dive right into Hope and Anderson's story and it’s finally here! Well, let me tell you it did not disappoint, I am a big sucker for a second chance romance, and then throw in a workplace romance in the mix and I’m in!

This story was filled with regret and loss and Anderson trying to make it right again. The steam and chemistry are flaming, but not only that, K.K. makes you feel. You feel their history, their passion, their regret and love, your heart pounds while you're reading and you are rooting for these two to finally get their life together.

"No regrets. That was our Oath."

There is a lot of angst in this story, you have some secondary characters that make it more so, but every time there is a push they seemed to get pulled back together.

I won't go into every detail about the book, but Hope and Anderson have a deep connection and one that keeps being tested. Anderson wants to make it right but Hope has given up and moved on, that is until she takes a job helping Anderson. Anderson is done living miserably, Hope is his light in that dark mind of his and he needs to fix what he couldn’t get right the first time.

"I saw you that day too. And I never stopped."

Every word of this book was beautiful and had me devouring every last sentence. I can not wait to get more of The Bexley’s!
