Tattooed biker bad boy meets Southern beauty queen.
This was a faced paced, kept me on my toes, but not too much angst book. While I really enjoyed Lauren (h) and Jackson's (H) story it moved quickly, the writing was good the concept was fun but I like a little more build up or connection of the H and h. I did appreciate how the book flowed and how one chapter became another and another until I was done. It was a fun and fast paced book that I would recommend for a good summer/beach read. I loved how the chapters started out with her mothers rules and she did the complete opposite, I thought that was a fun an unique touch to the story. The book is hot and Jackson is sexy and a little dirty, but in such a good way. ;)
Sometimes you need a book that isn't overly angsty, problems get resolved without that constant nagging feeling throughout the whole book of what's going to happen. Will they forgive each other? Will the parents ever except them etc...so to me I liked how things were resolved in a way that the reader felt the drama but didn't feel like chucking the book across the room or stomping on an e-reader because it seemed that there would never be an end. I am happy to have had an opportunity to read this book and look forward to future books by this author.
I want to congratulate Harper Kincaid on her debut novel and I'm excited to see what Heart Breaker is all about.
