I have been waiting for this book! After reading Queenie and King’s story I immediately posted about wanting a book about Jake and Hanna. I was hoping for a novella, so when I heard about A Kiss for a Kiss being a full-length novel I was jumping for joy. Helena did such a good job with these characters. You truly felt like you were reading about a more mature hero and heroine just by the way everything was handled, and I have to say it was so refreshing to read about a 40 something couple, (being 40 something myself) and it still be fresh, smart, and sexy.

Jake and Hanna try so hard to have a fun fling without anyone knowing, they have had a thing for each other for a while planning their kid’s weddings together. They finally decide to act on it, but when a little mistake happens, they have to end their hidden romance. Let’s just say it throws King off and Queenie is ecstatic about the possible coupling of her dad and “mother-in-law”. I love the conflict and resolution in this book, and like I said I like how two mature adults handled it. I’m not saying they were perfect by any means but so human and realistic to what I can imagine would really happen in their predicament.

Jake is such a good man and Hanna such a good woman and the two of them just work together, and their chemistry was so HOT! I am so happy Helena gave her readers this book, it exceeded my expectations! 

 I recommend this book along with all the books in this series, you will not be disappointed!

I love this series so much! I was so excited to read book #4 of the BelleCurve series, each story is unique and nothing like the other, each character is different but yet you fall in love with them all.

Over The Moon introduces us to Silver and King, two very broken people, they both have had horrible pasts and want to let go and forget, both have gotten so involved with their careers and passion so they could forget. Forgetting isn’t easy and being the best at what you do and working hard still doesn’t make that happen. When we first meet King he comes across as arrogant, crass, and broody but once you get to know the real him that’s been hiding you find that all of that is a cover to the exceptional human that he is. He really made a turnaround from when we first meet him. And then there is “Nurse Silver” the mystery, she is this super-strong heroine but yet really scared. She’s set in her ways and doesn’t want to veer from them. Kingston is determined to open her up and you see it slowly start to happen.

I loved seeing their banter and bickering at the beginning that slowly turned into more, and you could feel their chemistry from the get-go. I usually can pick a favorite book in a series but K.K. Allen makes it really tough with yet another amazing book.

Five fake fiance stars!!

Holy hot chemistry! Stella and Brock “Romeo” are a sizzling hot couple, the sexual tension with these two was insane. I love fake fiance books and I love a friend and enemy to lovers book and this book had all three.

Stella and Romeo are in Hawaii for their friend’s wedding, (Greer and Arlo from See me After Class) both are single, Romeo wants nothing to do with Stella, but when something happens that Stella needs his help he relents and helps out.

Stellas runs into her father and his new girlfriend at the resort, to say she is surprised is an understatement, once she finds out the couple is engaged she decides (in her inebriated state) to tell them she’s engaged too.

Romeo the lucky fiance is not too happy to learn Stella is his bride to be, helping her is the last thing he wants to do, but he harbors deep feelings for her and can’t say no, no matter how bad she’s hurt him and his pride.

This book had me laughing so hard, it had me hot and bothered and it had me mad. Romeo and Stella are a great hero and heroine, I loved how they played off each other, I loved their friendship and I love how Stella finally let Romeo see her vulnerability and vice versa. This book is going on one of my top favorites of Meghan’s, there isn’t a negative thing I can say, put this one on the top of your list, but don’t forget to read See Me after Class and the novella Mr. Kline is Fine beforehand, you won’t be disappointed.

Five Stars!

AH, the world of the Harris’s, I can’t get enough of these books, and Amy keeps us on our toes with Tilly and Santino. I have been so curious about Santino since Freys and Mac’s story. Did I like him? Not really, but I knew without a doubt Amy would do him justice. Well, Amy gives us so much to love. 

This is a second chance romance about Mac’s sister Tilly and Santino the attorney for the football club. These two were a sizzling “couple” years back until Tilly left, Tilly was the one that got away, and since her Santino can’t seem to commit to anyone longer than a couple of months. When Tilly returns the sparks fly but there are a lot of barriers holding them back. 

I loved getting their past and present and getting glimpses of their history. Santino is such a great character that tries not to let himself be too exposed and TIlly has a whole mess of issues. It was wonderful seeing them work through it and to see Santino bring something out in Tilly that needed to be. He has a certain magnetism that’s ready to bring Tilly back.

This was a wonderful story filled with ups and downs, it still has Amy’s humor but with a more weighted subject. Once again, Amy does not disappoint!
