4 stars!

Meghan has this ability to make me laugh out loud in every single book she writes. She once again delivers a novel that is funny, sexy, and totally ridiculous in the best way possible.

Hudson is focused on his career/company, doesn’t have time for relationships, and is very serious about life. Sloane, who just so happens to be his brother-in-law's sister, is his assistant. She has been harboring a crush on Hudson for some time now. She is Hudson’s complete opposite, not to mention a whole lot younger than him. When one little slip of the tongue turns into a wedding, Sloane is determined to fulfill her role as an assistant and wife. Let the fun begin.

I don’t like to get too much into the story because everyone should experience it for themselves. Sloane and Hudson had great chemistry and banter; they also really balanced each other out. I loved seeing Hudson come out of his shell. It was also a lot of fun that the book took place in London and all the things “Bridgerton” the wedding couple did. There were so many funny things that happened in London between Sloane and Hudson that I had a permanent grin while reading. The spice comes a little later in the story, but as always, Meghan makes it worth it.

I’m not ready for this series to end. I would love to get a novella or full-length novel about Jude and Haisley.

The Path to Loving Him by: Meghan Quinn

Meghan will manage to get all the feels out of you in her new book. She also doesn’t make you wait around for sexy times, it happens fast and often.

Ryland and Gabby are two well-thought-out characters. They have many layers and similar backgrounds leaving them vulnerable to new relationships. Ryland is not looking for a distraction and Gabby needs to focus on her new job. They both didn’t expect a one-night stand to turn into seeing each other daily. They try to navigate living steps away from each other and coaching together, but their scorching chemistry makes it difficult and the closer they get the harder it is to deny.

I’m in love with the Almond Bay series and this book may have been my favorite. I wasn’t sure about Gabby at first, but as I got to know her character I fell in love with her. She was dishonest in the beginning but not because she was a dishonest person and more because she needed to protect herself. She was a strong female character which I admire. And Ryland I have always liked even though he could be a grump, I so wanted him to find his HEA. I think Gabby was the perfect personality for him to come out of his shell and finally live a little. Mac is such a great addition to this book and series, I’m so happy that we got so much of her in this book. The epilogue was fantastic and made me cry.

Another five-star book by Meghan, I can’t wait to see what other characters we will get from Almond Bay!
