Wolf Bite - RWB teaser 1 About WOLF BITE (Wolf Cove Series #2): Isolated in the luxurious Wolf Cove Hotel in Alaska, Abbi Mitchell is thousands of miles away from her family and friends. In the hands of a predator. Potentially. After discovering condemning information about the mercurial man who controls her day-to-day work life and, now, her most intimate private life as well, Abbi's not sure she can continue on with... whateveris going on between her and Henry Wolf. Especially when he's about to be thrown into a fiery media circus ring, and she, along with her reputation, will undoubtedly get dragged into it with him. But breaking things off with the Big Bad Wolf now likely means losing her job and her summer of freedom, and going back to the farm and her controlling mother. She's not doing that. Abbi does have something to hold over Henry's head. If he forces her hand. If she has the guts to do what amounts to blackmail. But will the all-powerful Henry Wolf concede, or will she finally feel his bite?

Wolf Bite - RWB teaser 1

Excerpt:
That’s when my personal phone starts ringing. The one sitting inside my purse.

I stifle the urge to hiss with panic as I fumble for it, the strap of my purse slipping off my shoulder in the process. It hits the floor with a soft thud. I dive for it, cursing under my breath as I root through the pocket with frantic hands, finding it and flipping the silence button on the side. Hoping the noise will go unnoticed.

I’m still on my knees with my head bowed when the door creaks open wider and Henry’s polished black shoes appear in front of me.

“I’ve gotta go. Call me when you’re in my office and I’ll give you the code to the safe,” Henry demands, his voice unnaturally calm as compared to a moment ago, though no less hostile.

I take my time collecting the few items that spilled from my purse while I decide what to do. What should I say? Do I play dumb? Do I say I just got here? Do I pretend I don’t know a thing, and smile and wait expectantly for him to kiss me?

Tell me to strip?

F*ck me on his desk? In his bed?

Even as appalled as I am with him right now, I’d be lying if I said the thought of having him touch me doesn’t spark heat between my thighs. He’s turned me into some sort of sex deviant. But I can’t just sit here on my knees as if I’m waiting for him to unzip his fly. I finally dare look up, in time to see his hand stretch out in front of him, palm out.

It could be considered a gentlemanly offer, and yet from Henry Wolf I hear the command.

Sliding my fingers over his calloused palm—he must have earned those splitting wood—I ease to my feet. I take a deep, calming breath before I let my gaze climb his firm, hard body, his charcoal designer suit as perfect and out of place in the wilds of Alaska as on any other day, before meeting his eyes. The cold, steely blue in them instantly creates knots in my stomach.

“You have a bad, bad habit of eavesdropping, Abigail,” he whispers.

He knows I hate being called Abigail, but now’s not the time to remind him of that. I clear my throat to avoid sounding weak and fearful. “I didn’t want to interrupt.”

“Liar.” His lip twitches with amusement, but it falls off so quickly. “What exactly did you hear?”

Here’s the moment of truth. Lie and smile, or confront him with what I know. Which is it?

My Review: (ARC provided)
4-4.5 stars!
Steam factor 5 plus stars!

I love how this book picks up where the cliffy left us; Abbi wondering just who the hell Mr. Wolf/Henry is. A lot happens in this book and Nina West does a great job of taking us through it.

Abbi really has to put her trust in Henry but being burned by her ex fiancĂ© makes it really tough for her. She has to watch him dote on woman all while she is on the sidelines “pretending” to just be his assistant. Throw in the accusations against him, his brother and father visiting and his brother egging her on and it makes for one very meek self-conscious girl to spiral back into her old self a bit, and lose all faith in the Henry she’s come to know.

No spoilers so that’s all I’m going to say about it. Abbi makes some very poor decisions while she is working at The Cove but I’m glad she made them. Henry needed to see she’s not going to just sit around and cry for him. I feel he needed to see her grow. They may not have been the best choices but she’s a young girl with very little experience, she needed to open up a little, gain some confidence and come out of her shell. She needed to feel desirable.

Henry pissed me off so bad; he also made so many horrible mistakes and was really cruel to Abbi. I’m glad he got a little taste of his own medicine.

This book is one of the hottest books I’ve read in a long time. Now I’ve read some erotica that actually made me feel dirty but his book wasn’t like that at all, in fact I think it was tastefully done. The steam factor is off the charts though so prepare yourself. I was reading on the bus and had to put it away. ;)

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

And don’t miss the first book in the Wolf Cove Series, WOLF BAIT! Wolf Bite is Book 2 in the Wolf Cove series and should be read after devouring Wolf Bait (Book 1)...

Cover Reveal!! A Mess Of A Man by: A.M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine

 Title:A Mess of A Man
Author: A.M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 21st, 2015

Smashwords: http://bit.ly/1Re7ln1

From USA TODAY BESTSELLING authors of Cruel and Beautiful, A.M. Hargrove and Terri E. Laine bring a new full-length standalone New Adult Contemporary Romance. This novel includes mature content, not suitable for younger readers. (Rated R)

Womanizer, Man Whore, Player, Heartbreaker are all familiar names Ben Rhoades has been called. He prefers the nicknames Money Man or Sex God, but he doesn’t let other people’s opinions rule him. And he’s only gotten worse without his compass, his best friend, whose devastating death at a young age has taught him a valuable lesson about not getting too close to anyone… ever. Until one smart and stubborn woman with eye-catching curves throws him for a loop and refuses to be tamed.

Samantha Calhoun has her life on track even after the shattering break up with the guy she’d thought she’d wanted to marry. With her chin held high, she focuses on her career, building her business and making a success of it all. Until a chance meeting has her falling into a set of alluring steel gray eyes that make her steps falter and her heart leap out her chest. Forewarned by numerous not so flattering rumors of him around town, not to mention his no holds barred rules, she tries desperately to play his game while guarding her heart.

Only they have no idea of the journey they’re about to undertake when their lives collide. Ultimately, they’ll tackle the biggest test of their lives because she is his game changer—his life altering one. The one, who through the ensuing wreckage, can tame the mess of a man that he is.

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, USA Today bestselling author, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn’t do something soon, it would be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had super quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss, and quit her job. Grinning, she made another call to her husband and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was still beating).

Other than loving writing about romance, she loves chocolate, ice cream, and coffee and swears they should be added as part of the USDA food groups

I am the co-author of USA Today bestseller, Cruel and Beautiful. I write romance with heart and heat. Wife and mother of three, I’ve always been an avid reader. In my early years, my best friend and I would tell each other stories over the phone when we were bored. We called them our “soap operas” and generally revolved around whatever boy we liked at the time.

Over five years ago, I got this crazy idea to write a novel and try to publish it. And the rest is history. This journey has been a blessing, and a dream realized. I look forward to many more memories to come.

I write under several pen names with over a dozen titles under my various names. I have a few more up my sleeves to be revealed soon.

Look what is Coming March 29th! Kim Holden's new novel!! ‪#‎SoMuchMore‬ ‪#‎FreeHugs‬ I'm so excited!!

Love is strange. It comes out of nowhere. There’s no logic to it. It’s not methodical. It’s not scientific. It’s pure emotion and passion. And emotion and passion can be dangerous because they fuel love…and hate.
I’m now a reluctant connoisseur of both—an expert through immersion. I know them intimately.
When I fell in love with Miranda, it was swift and blind. She was the person I’d elevated to mythical status in my head, in my dreams.
Here’s the thing about dreams, they’re smoke.
They’re spun as thoughts until they become something we think we want. Something we think we need.
That was Miranda. She was smoke.
I thought I wanted her. I thought I needed her.
Over time reality crept in and slowly dissected and disemboweled my dreams like a predator, leaving behind a rotting carcass.
Reality can be a fierce bitch.
So can Miranda.
And I can be a fool...
who believes in dreams.
And people.
And love.

My Review (ARC provided)
5 stars!

Damn, Lesley Jones took me by surprise with this book. I expected to bawl through the entire thing, and although there were many times I teared up it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Of course I needed chocolate and wine but that goes without saying when you read her novels. ;)

So I've always been team Sean, I thought Georgia and him belonged together, I thought they were soul mates. Well this book made me fall hard for Cam. It's not that I didn't like him before because I really did but dare I say I think now Georgia and Cam were meant to be and belong together. Ahhhh...I don't know, I'm torn.
"We'd taken a long and winding road, with unimaginable loss and heartbreak along the way, to get to each other, but we got here."

We get a lot more of Cam and Georgia than I thought we would in this book but I'm glad. I'm glad we saw how Sean was feeling through his words in the letters to G, but I'm also glad we saw how they affected Georgia and Cam.
Lesley always writes with passion and meaning she has a realness in her writing that makes you feel like you're living it. I loved this book and the way it made me feel. There was also a scene that was a laugh out loud moment for me. It is between Georgia, Jimmie, and Ashley and as I was reading it I took a sip of wine and spit it out everywhere.

Lesley has done it again with her words, she has evoked many feelings in me. I am blown away with how much I loved this book but also, Georgia and Cam together.

"I thought you and Maca had an epic love story, but you and Cam, that's just... I don't even know what to say, George. You're like magnets or something."

I highly recommend!

***make sure you read the Carnage series first though!***
And grab the box set while it's on sale! Only 99 cents through Feb. 28th!!

“I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die”
Carnage, an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you read the final word.
An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.

Marley: A Carnage Novel

Want to know what really happened in that hotel room in Paris?
Want to know if the rumours of Marley, Sean and their sexploits were true?
We got to watch Georgia fall apart but what was Sean going through in those four years they were separated?
Marley will give you the answers but he might just break your heart along the way.
"‘So, they want me to write a book? They want to know about my band, my life, my loves and my losses. But they have no idea what they’re asking for. If I give them what they want, they’ll get so much more than the sex and drugs and the rock and roll they’re expecting. They’ll get the secrets that I’ve kept for so long, they’ll get an insight into the person I really am, or at least was. They think they know my story, they know nothing.
If I do this, if I write honestly and give them the ugly truth, people will get hurt. People that I love, people that have already suffered in the worst possible ways.
Do I do this, or do I walk away? Taking my secrets to the grave."
Marley is an adult contemporary romance. It contains content suitable only for grownups with an open mind. There are scenes of group sex which include m/f/m a little bit of f/m/m and even some f/f/f/m/m/f/f/f. There is drinking and drug taking involved. A lot of swearing, some Essex slang and some very high emotion. Please don’t complain after reading this book that you weren't warned.
And yes, of course you’ll need tissues.
