This book was not what I was expecting, it is so full of emotion and a little deeper than I thought. Of course, Meghan knows how to throw in her laugh-out-loud moments at the right time and I needed the comic relief at some points.
Ryot and Myla are struggling with their marriage, Ryot has let his career get in the way and Myla has shut down, it has become so bad that Myla can’t see herself living that way anymore so she asks for a divorce. Ryot is bound and determined not to divorce the love of his life, but will he be able to convince her for another shot?
In this story, we get the past of Myla and Ryot's relationship and how they fell in love. I appreciated reading their history mixed in with the present, it gives the reader a good feel for how they were before things got so bad and the love and friendship they had for each other, not to mention the chemistry.
“In the world of baseball, we don’t get much time to breathe, but you, you’re my breath of fresh air.”
I have to say there were times I didn’t get Myla though, and her decisions and character made me angry. If I hadn’t gotten insight into her past, I wouldn’t have felt for or liked her character. Do I think Ryot was wrong? Absolutely! Do I think Myla needed to try harder to get him to listen? Yes! To me, a few months of term oil in a relationship isn’t something to divorce over, but I understand Myla’s frustration and where she was coming from especially with her upbringing.
“I know he’s a good man. A great man, actually. The best. I just haven’t seen that man for a long time, and, it seems, no beginning or conversation will bring him back.”
The second half of this book was perfection, I loved it! We get to see Myla and Ryot talk to each other, see their love for each other, how much fun they have together, and that sizzling chemistry. It made me fall in love with them as a couple.
Be prepared to laugh (because it’s Meghan) but also cry because this book has it all.

Hollywood screenwriter Sawyer Walsh knows a good love story when he sees it. But when it comes to real life romance, he’s a mess. That’s how he finds himself standing at the altar…as his ex-girlfriend ties the knot with his very famous best friend. The pressure, the resentment, the media coverage—it’s all too much—and before he knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s making a run for it, leaving a shocked congregation and flashing cameras in his wake.
Needing to lie low amid the media fallout, Sawyer lands in the charming town of Canoodle, California, where he crosses paths with Fallon Long, who runs the Canoodle Cove Cabins, a family-owned business and Sawyer’s new short-term residence. Overwhelmed with renovations and her long list of responsibilities, Fallon is struggling to make ends meet while attempting to bring the cabins back to their original glory. So when Sawyer arrives, she is grateful for the income, but immediately writes him off as just another vapid Hollywood hack, until he begins to prove her wrong at every turn.
As Fallon comes closer to saving the family business, an undeniable bond forms between her and the handsome screenwriter. But the pressures of her family obligations and Sawyer’s notoriety might prove to be too much for anyone to handle. Could Canoodle be the setting for a new romance—or is true love just a Hollywood clichรฉ?
This book was so cute! It starts off with our main Hero being forced to be the best man in his ex’s and “best friends” wedding. I started laughing immediately as we got into Sawyer’s head and was rooting for him to get the hell out of that place. And out he did, Cinderella-style, and made his way up into the San Jacinto mountains.
Fallon our heroine just so happens to be at the bar our tuxedo-wearing, one-shoe H stumbles upon, and he really knows how to make an ass out of himself as he drinks himself stupid. Fallon recognizes him but he has no recollection of her, and she doesn’t like him very much from what she remembers. I could go on and on about this hilarious meeting and how Sawyer ends up staying in the mountains but why ruin all the funny moments?
Sawyer decides he needs peace and an escape from the entertainment industry in LA so stays up in the mountains in Fallon’s cabins. He begins bonding with the town and the people and slowly wins everyone over, including Fallon.
I loved the friendship that Fallon and Sawyer formed. Sawyer was such a good person with such a big heart and so was Fallon, unfortunately, Fallon had a wonderful boyfriend that adored her, and as Sawyer developed feelings towards Fallon he knew he couldn’t do anything about them.
"Sawyer drunkenly stumbled back into my life and quickly stole my heart."
This book was different from any of Meghan’s books I’ve read. The majority of the book was the H and h bonding and building a friendship, the h had a boyfriend for most of the book too. Meghan definitely likes her slow-burn romances but this was a slow-burn friendship turned into romance. You don't get a lot of steam or angst, but you get a lot of laughs and feel good while reading. It is definitely a feel-good book. And you will love all of the side characters! If you are in the mood for a book that will make you laugh, smile, and tug your heartstrings this is the book for you!
"People look for leaders to guide them through the dark. You lit a light, and people followed."
Fall in love with billionaire, Fordham Sharpe, and sassy businesswoman, Ellery Sinclair, in this all-new wrong place at the right time, forced proximity, office romance by New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg.
One stormy night.
One hotel bar full of stranded travelers.
One available chair next to a charming, mysterious, and sexy-as-hell man.
There was something about him and our conversation that made me feel alive. That made me feel heard.
When our paths crossed again, I never expected the stranger to be Fordham Sharpe, one-third of the sinfully rich and ridiculously successful Sharpe International Network brothers. Nor did I expect we’d become partners—๐ง๐ช๐ง๐ต๐บ-๐ง๐ช๐ง๐ต๐บ—in a hotel transformation that dreams were made of.
To him, I was off limits. He was my venture partner, and we knew better than to mix business with pleasure. But we had one thing in common—we were both hiding. From our pasts. From unresolved family conflicts. From what really mattered—our hearts.
But as each day passed, our mutual attraction became harder to resist.
We agreed to the partnership to prove our worth to our families, but perhaps we’d only prove our need for something else. ๐๐ข๐ค๐ฉ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ.
I loved this series, and now I think Ford may be my favorite. Celery Ellery and Fordham the University are so damn cute! K. Bromberg is a pro at writing a strong female, that’s why I love reading her books so much, you don't feel like you're getting a heroine that can’t speak up for herself or is wishy-washy. I loved this about Ellery, she was a strong businesswoman and had her mind set on what she wanted. And Ford our hero was supportive and strong and wants to to Ellery succeed. He was so sweet and just a bit shy which I found so endearing. Let me rewind a minute and talk a little about how they met.
Both Ellery and Ford are stranded in an old bar that happens to be a hotel in the Hamptons, both are not in good moods, and there because they needed to get away, a storm has come through and all roads have closed leaving everyone in the bar for the night. Ellery and Ford strike up a conversation and keep each other company, making each other feel a spark and fire they didn’t expect. They told each other their visions and dreams of this dive hotel, but once morning comes Ellery is gone leaving Ford with only thoughts of her.
When they cross paths again after that night Ellery is shocked to discover who Ford is and agrees to a partnership. I loved their partnership and how Ford let Ellery run with her ideas, I loved the forced proximity of this story that builds and builds and has you waiting for someone to break. I loved their easy conversations and their banter, how they understood what the other needed. And when all that build-up sexual tension finally comes to an end it is explosive. The only problem is that neither one of them is completely telling each other everything and holding back just enough. Ellery doesn’t want to love and is scared by it.
“Ellery Sinclair does not fall in love. Correction, Ellery Sinclair will not fall in love.”
Will that push Ford away or can he convince her she is worthy of a happily ever after?
“She doesn’t read the epilogues. She doesn’t believe in happily ever afters.”
Talk about epilogues, everyone that reads my reviews know they are my favorite and this one didn’t disappoint! I’m not ready to let this series go yet!!

You know when you start reading a book and it’s a cocky hero and you can’t stand him? But you do? You keep telling yourself not to like him, but something is pulling you in. Well, this my friend is Benson Bexley. I didn’t want to like the guy but I’m a sucker for an asshole with baggage, and I just knew K.K. could redeem him.
Benson is back at Camp Bexley after being gone for a decade and he’s back out not because he wants to be. The Bexley’s youngest brother is fighting to heal and all the brothers are there to help him through it. Benson figures while he's in town he might as well tune in on his craft and talent and take an art class, little does he know his teacher is someone from his past.
Brooklyn is teaching an art workshop and the one person she thought she never would see again or want to see again is in her class, but he doesn’t know who she is and she is more than willing to play a little game and take on some revenge.
"The guy has got an impenetrable heart of stone. He's already fooled me once. I won't let him fool me again."
Brooklyn and Benson have instant chemistry you can feel as you’re reading, it's in between the lines of their banter. Benson won’t give up on Brooklyn but Brooklyn won't have it, that is until Benson starts charming her all over again.
For me this book was a page-turner, I picked it up and looked down and I was already fifty percent into it. I smiled, laughed, teared up, and felt every single one of the emotions portrayed. I loved seeing Benson really come to terms with his life through art and really take the step to grow and forgive himself. Brooklyn was who and what he needed and I loved how it came through in the reading. K.K. really created a beautiful couple and I’m not ready to let them go just yet! Hopefully, we will get some more of them in the next Bexley brother book.
Crew Taylor is the picture of perfection, if gruff, grumpy, and prone to throw a punch is your type. Clearly, it’s mine or I wouldn’t be begging him to bite the bullet and claim my virginity as his own.
Sure, he’s a bit of a caveman, broody and bossy and oh so naughty, but that’s sort of the point.
He’s experienced, his heated hazel eyes promising sinful skills in seduction, and I want him to teach me all he knows.
Lesson by lesson.
Night after night.
The problem?
He says he won’t allow me in his bed … but I wonder what it would take to get him to play in mine a bit?

Ah, Crew and Davis! From page one this book grabbed me, our quirky heroine Davis and our temperamental hero Crew were definitely a pair you rooted for. This book has a lot of everything from heartfelt moments to laugh-out-loud moments, and sexy moments. Meagan’s writing easily flows from chapter to chapter, giving us detail but not overwhelming us.
I loved the bond and friendship Davis and Crew had, you could see their care for each other and how quickly they fell back into it after three years. This is a unique story because Crew and Davis grew up together and Crew and her older brother Memphis were always protective of her. Davis’s parents fostered Crew after his parents left and she was the girl following them around and trying to be with them. They always made sure she was looked out for. Three years have passed since Davis has seen Crew or spoken to him so when she propositions him it's the last thing he expects.
“He was Memphis’s Crew before.” “My Crew.” “He’s not anymore.” “Now, he’s theirs.”
Crew turns down the proposition but Davis won’t let up, so instead, he comes up with a plan to help her get what she wants. Little does he know he won't be able to handle it and his alpha tendencies come through. Throw in close proximity and Davis and Crew have a real Dilemma!
This is a hardcover coffee table book with an exquisitely designed casing, created from the highest quality paper and to the strictest standards. It has 358 pages of black and white and color images taken over a 17 year period of the most stunning monasteries and monuments in Armenia and Artsakh. Each location’s history is presented in both English and Armenian, and is both entertaining and enlightening. The book contains poetry, artwork, and a narrative of the author’s discovery of his lineage and culture. A lovely present for Armenians and non-Armenians alike.

My oh my Meghan sure knows how to write a HOT royal romance. Lilly wasn’t your typical princess, in fact, she didn’t even know she was one, that is until Keller found her in Miami in a bikini spraying people down. Keller is the personal secretary for the King of a small island called Torskethorpe and was sent to get Lilly and hopefully convince her to take over the throne one day.
When I see an M.Q. book I know I will be thoroughly entertained, and this book did not disappoint! Want grumpy-sunshine, enemies to lovers, alpha, and opposites attract? You get it all here with the laugh-out-loud moments that Meghan always delivers. I loved that we hadn’t seen Keller come out of his shell yet but still got the hilarity of The Informative (a little spin-off of Lady Whistledown).
Lilly was a wild child free spirit, while Keller was so serious and bottled up everything. If Lilly felt something she told you, she was confident and told you what she wanted. She was such a great character. Keller was secretive, serious, and determined, the two of them couldn’t be more opposite but their chemistry and the way they balanced each other out made them work so well.
The different things Lilly had to learn made me giggle, I loved the description of the island and the way Lilly became one with it. I honestly loved everything about this book and I won't go into too much more to avoid spoiling. This is such an entertaining read!!
I’m not sure how long I can ignore the undeniable spark between us.

This book sure tugged at your heartstrings. It ended up being a much deeper book than I thought it was. There were certain situations that hit home and really made me take a minute to finish out the chapter.
I really loved both these complex characters, Ilsa does a great job of bringing out their emotions and insecurities really making you feel one with them. I do wish we got more of Eric and Julia’s back story and past, I loved seeing a little glimpse of them in the beginning but would have loved jumping from past to present.
Eric is under a lot of pressure from his father to become an attorney and to be a part of the Kappa fraternity, to follow in his father and brother's footsteps. Eric’s real love is hockey and he is one hell of a player, he hates the frat and has no genuine desire to practice law. He wants to make his parents proud and be the son they expect.
Julia has gone through some tough times and is trying to make ends meet, when she runs into Eric again after a couple of years he comes to her rescue, but she isn’t the same person she once was and will not let him burn her once again.
I really loved how Eric and Julia's relationship evolved, it was sweet and felt real, starting with a sort of friendship and then truly becoming friends, to realizing the love they had for each other. It wasn’t rushed and it felt right. And they essentially ended up rescuing each other,
This couple had a lot of hurdles to jump but they were each other's person to help jump them. They had great chemistry and when they did get together it was HOT. I can’t wait for another book about these hockey boys!! Oh, and my love for epilogues was definitely fulfilled!

I was patiently waiting for this story! If you’ve read the other books you know that something was brewing and Smith has regrets, but you weren’t sure what happened and it left you wanting more. Well, we finally get Emilia and Smith and their back story, and boy, it starts out HOT. In fact, this is probably the hottest book I’ve read in a while. Be prepared for the alpha, that is Smith and his demands will have you fanning yourself early on.
Emilia is up for a promotion to the director of media relations position. She has been working with the Carolina Comets for a couple of years, but before she gets this promotion she needs to profile one of the most private and oldest players, Smith. He just so happens to be her weekend hookup over two years ago. It's time to convince him to let them spotlight him. She knows the pull they have, she’s managed to avoid him and she also just found out there is a no fraternalization policy. But what happens when they have to work so close? Will they be able to resist the connection they have?
I definitely think this is the steamiest book I’ve read by Teagan. I will say even though the book was on fire the story was really sweet. I loved getting their past and their present and seeing them grow as people. Smith is towards the end of his career and Emilia is just starting hers. I liked seeing them get to know each other and the fun banter.
I really have loved this series, but this book has been my favorite. I can’t wait to see what Teagan has in store for us with Miller.
