Out Now! Jock Reign by: Sara Ney...Read Kenzie's review!

Release Date: September 30

IT’S NOT EASY LIVING IN YOUR BROTHERS SHADOW.

Jack Dryden-Jones is easily the worst rugby player on the field—when he moves to The States to follow in his brothers footsteps, he has no idea how he’d hate the game. He’s so horrible he considers faking an injury to take himself out of the game.

Jack is a quick-witted, comic book loving gentleman—not an athlete.

DO NOT DATE YOUR ROOMMATES CRUSH.

When her roommate brings home a random stranger, Eliza is shocked when he makes himself at home; he’s strapping, strong and watching a movie at the end of her couch as if he belongs there.

It makes her uncomfortable in the best way possible.

But if there is one thing she believes in, it’s GIRL CODE: No girl may date her friend's ex, past crush, or guys who have humiliated/used her. And she most certainly may not date any guy her friend currently fancies...

DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Jack and Eliza are two of the good ones—it’s going to take a miracle to keep them apart.

THREE AND A HALF STARS!!!

Jock Reign was a quick read for me that I had enjoyed! I had loved the characters Sara had wrote for Jock Reign, especially Jack the male love interest.

I felt as those the couple was a perfect match for each other, I just wish I was able to witness more of them together especially after overcoming an issue within their relationship. The book and storyline had felt fast and had me wishing there was more to the book.

Jock Reign is a standalone book, but is within the Jock Hard series. I recommend reading the four previous books before this, especially to get a better understanding of characters that are mentioned through out the book. I had not done this prior and had just picked this book up, but it had me wishing I knew more about the other characters that had been mentioned and their relationships that were talked about.

I will be reading the Jock Hard series and can't wait to read the sixth book "Jock Romeo" that will be coming out soon!

Five stars!

I think while reading this book, I had a perma-grin. I laughed out loud on several occasions to the point that my husband asked me what was so funny. I replied, "Meghan Quinn, she is so funny and ridiculous, let me read you this part..." All I have to say is "breast milk." I love the reasoning behind Winnie going to her uncles and getting the closure she needed, she took a very sad and sorrowful situation and made it hilarious.

What happens when you get stuck in the middle of a rainstorm and have no clue where you are? Easy, you knock on the door of a hockey player's vacation home. Just so happens it's off-season and there is a houseful of them. Every single one of these players was unique in their own way. We get the pleasure of getting to know Pacey (the goalie) in this book. I loved Pacey he was a little shy but once he sets his sites on what he wants he goes for it.

Winnie has been hurt, she's taken a road trip to find herself and grieve, for the loss of her mom, but also the toll her ex took on her. Pacey and Winnie are drawn to each other, both feel like they know each other, both have obstacles to overcome. They make each other happy and are able to take on those obstacles together.

I loved this book, loved this couple from the start of their friendship until the very end. I can't wait to get more of these hockey players, (especially Holmes). Katherine and Max, (Winnie's best friends) would also be great characters to get books about too.

Once again Meghan does not disappoint with this hilarious, hot, and touching story. And when I say hot, I mean it. Wow, Pacey is dirty! ;)

Hard to Love by K. Bromberg is now live! Four Stars!!

Hard to Love by K. Bromberg is now live!

New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, is back with a heartfelt, enemies to lovers romance and a hero who redeems himself to steal your heart . . .

He was the one-night stand that didn't exactly go as planned. Now he's standing before me as if he's never seen me naked, telling my manager he'll take the job. Reluctantly.

Finn Sanderson.

Sports agent extraordinaire. Handsome as hell. The man who just signed on to control my every move.

Sure, I'm to blame for my recent bad press, but when your whole life has been so regimented, isn't it normal to want to live it up a little?

But when the partying stops and the grief I'm running from has nowhere else to hide, reality sets in. Turns out, Finn's the only person I have left to help pick up the pieces. The only person to call.

Staying with him is a temporary thing. But when our fighting turns into laughter and our friendship turns into something more, will I fight for a man who swears he's hard to love? Or is it wiser to walk away? To follow the plan?

* * *
Offering to help with a client is a way to repay a long overdue IOU to my mentor. Little did I know she was the woman who left my hotel room at four in the morning.

Stevie Lancaster.

Top-seeded US tennis player. Good girl gone bad. The woman currently about to throw her career away. And now my problem.

The compensation to "babysit" her is great, but she isn't worth my trouble.

But when her world falls apart and she has no one else to turn to, I try to be a good guy by gathering her up and hiding her from the media's eye.

Now she's in my house, in my space, and even though I'm enjoying the side benefits of this unexpected arrangement, surely she's better to leave when the time comes and follow her destiny. Because I'm not the man she needs. Not the man she could love. Right?

4 stars!

When Kristy said she was writing a book about Finn I was skeptical but curious and excited, Kristy knows how to write a damaged hero. I did not like him at all in the first couple of books, but as the series goes on you get small glimpses of a better person. I have loved every book in this series so I was compelled to see what she was going to do with Finn. Well, she did not disappoint. At the beginning of the book Finn comes off as a real asshole but once you get to know him and his many layers you understand why and you figure out that deep down he isn’t all that he seems on the surface.

Stevie our heroine is a train wreck in this book, she doesn’t know what to do with herself, behaves like a child, and needs some guidance. Stevie is a professional tennis player and has just lost her father unexpectedly, he was her everything and she’s slowly spiraling out of control. Her manager knows just the person to help her out, and to her and Finn’s surprise, they already know each other.

I really enjoyed the banter between these two and I enjoyed seeing them coming to terms with who they were and what they wanted. Even though Finn was several years older than Stevie he had some self-reflection and growing to do too. You can see that happening in their “relationship.”

So why not five stars? Because I loved the other books so much and I didn’t have that same love for this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I couldn’t put it down, but I guess I wanted more out of Stevie and Finn. I wanted to see more of them together as a couple, the off-the-charts chemistry, and to be honest, I was hoping for a bit more of the Kincades too.

I definitely recommend it and if you haven’t read this series start with book one, you will not be disappointed!.

Meet Kristy

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can't help to love.

Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.

Five Stars!

Aiden Bell has changed his entire life to be a better person, but in the process had to leave the love of his life. What happens when his love comes back? Will he give everything up that he's worked so hard for? Or will he let him go again?

Where do I even begin with this review for Saint? First of all, it is beautifully written, it has so much detail, but not boring detail. It is the kind of detail that sucks you in and has you imagining and experiencing the things our characters are. I have to admit that there were a lot of things or words regarding Christianity or Monk living that I had to look up, so not only did I love this book it was a learning experience for me too.

I felt like this book was very deep, it tugs at your heartstrings and touches on current-day topics like white “male” privilege, racism, mental illness, and homophobia. It also gave me a better understanding of bisexuality. It’s funny in parts and deliciously dirty, but you definitely don’t feel like you’re just reading smut. This is the first M/M book I've read and Sierra did it so much justice. I look forward to getting caught up in her next book!

This was a very spiritual read to me and I felt good reading it. I can’t wait for you all to read it too!

I can’t have him because I broke his heart five years ago; because he’s now engaged to someone else—someone kind and dependable who deserves his whiskey eyes, his soft mouth, his fierce intellect.   I can’t have Elijah because I’ve chosen God instead.   The Bell brothers, though . . . well, we don't exactly have the greatest track record with vows. But I’m determined to do this monk thing right—to pledge myself to a cloistered life and spend the rest of my years in chastity and prayer. But now Elijah’s here. He’s here and he’s coming with me on my European monastery road trip, and between the whispered confessions and the stolen kisses and the moments bent over an ancient altar, my vows are feeling flimsier by the day.   And vows or not, I know in my heart that it would take more than a good and holy monk to resist Elijah Iverson right now. It would take a saint.   And we all know that I’m no saint.   (This is the third full-length standalone in the Priest Collection, featuring Father Bell's brother, Aiden Bell. Title: Written in Love Letters

“Without a doubt 5 stars and my favorite read to date from Zoey Drake! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐⭐️” - Goodreads Review

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧
It's been four years since one night changed our lives...
I lost my heart, my soul, the love of my life.
She left without a word and never gave me a chance to explain.
Was I mad? Hell yeah.
But I never stopped loving her.
So I wrote her a letter, and then another one, and then another...
Now she's back again and I can't help the feelings I'm having. Just like before, she's the oxygen in my lungs and the sun in my sky.
Except, she's hell bent on never giving me another chance.

𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡
Four years ago, Remington made one decision that changed our future.
It hurt too much to relive that night over and over again, so I ran.
I went to the city and started over, ignoring all things Remington.
But after losing my job, I have no choice but to move home.
Back to Moonshine Springs.
Back to where my heart was shattered into a million pieces.
He seems to think we stand a chance, that we can move on and be something to each other once again.
I'm not so sure I can trust him, though.
Or that I'm willing to risk the pain that comes with loving Remington.
All I can do is agree to finally read his letters and see if my heart survives.

Suzy's review (ARC provided)
Four stars!

I'm gonna be completely honest here with a few things.
1. This was my first Zoey Drake book
2. I struggled with the beginning of the story. I felt like it was rocky connecting a few things.
3. I ALMOST PUT IT DOWN VERY EARLY ON.....

BUT........I DIDN'T. AND I actually ENDING UP ENJOYING THIS BOOK!! Like...a lot..like I couldn't put it down once I got going.

This book made me, laugh, cry and want to strangle someone. The main characters Remington and Faith. These two you couldn't help but love them but want to strangle them at times. I couldn't believe it took Faith so long to read Remy's letters! I would've been tearing them open the moment they arrived. But I loved going down memory lane with Remington and seeing everything through his eyes. All of his and Faiths "firsts"

I don't want to give any spoilers in this review but I recommend definitely picking up this book if you are in the mood for a little laughter, angst, and a second chance love story!

I definitely have fallen in love with the characters of Willow Springs. I plan on now picking up Written in the Sand and patiently waiting for all other books that are written for this series and other books by this author!

How is it possible to need someone so bad I can't breathe, but also hate them so much it hurts? I hate him, but I love him. Loving him is the last thing I want to do, but I can’t help it. I’m unconsciously drawn to him.

This is why I ran, but being back here is challenging me. I didn't sleep last night and I wonder how many sleepless nights will happen back-to-back because I can't shut off my brain or the feelings flooding the crevices of my brain each time he materializes.

My body wants him, subconsciously reaching out to him unwarranted. My soul cries out, demanding I read his letters because it misses its best friend, his soul. My heart is black and blue.

The engine turns off and we sit in silence for a moment, unmoving. I'm frozen to my seat, not making eye contact, but then I peer over. I wait for him to move first. Two minutes later, I watch as he gets out. The empty seat beside me where he was sitting is unattended.
