🔥🔥 HOT NEW RELEASE 🔥🔥 Chicks, Man by J.D. Hollyfield is LIVE! #OneClick today!

\\

BOOK BLURB   Falling in love was the easy part. Being secretly in love with my brother’s best friend is where it got tricky. Levi Dent was off-limits. Which was probably for the best, since he barely knew I existed. Until one night I saw an opportunity I couldn’t resist. The problem was, I got caught. She tricked me. I knew there was something so familiar about her, but I just couldn’t resist. Hannah Matthews was nothing more than my best friend’s little sister. Except she wasn’t so little anymore. I need to forget all about her. If only it were that easy...   Add to Goodreads: https://bit.ly/2WJRPg6

My Review: (ARC provided)
3.5 stars
When I saw the title, author, and cover of this book I knew I wanted to read it. I had no idea what this was about but knew these three components piqued my interest enough to give it a go. Let me start by saying that it was not what I expected. I thought I was going to be reading a RomCom and not that it didn't have funny parts it just wasn't at all what I thought.

The beginning of the book starts with a deceptive act that our heroine Hannah contrives to get our hero Levi. That part got to me a bit because it was neither of their personalities and as you read you realize this just isn't something these two characters would do. I do understand it was a poor judgment call on both of their parts but it doesn't didn't sit well with me.

Hannah was always the little sister, the dorky girl that got picked on by her older brother's friends, and she always had a big crush on her brother's best friend Levi. Another thing that didn't sit well with me was the age difference between the brother and sister, the reason being is when there are eight-plus years difference I don't think a sixteen-year-old boy would bully or even bother with an eight-year girl the way he did, and where was the older brother. He should be defending that poor little girl. ANd the bullying continues until the very end of the book and no one speaks up for her until then. Okay, so those were my cons. Now on to the good stuff.

Levi! He was AMAZING, sweet, sexy, and smart. He was the only one not to pick on Hannah, and as soon as he saw her after college you could feel their spark and chemistry.

"She wasn't just a girl. She was special. She suddenly became this bright color in my dull world. A warmth that fed my soul and made me feel something I'm not sure I've ever felt before."

Hannah was this beautiful soul, snarky, intelligent, and beyond her years. I loved them as a couple. Levi was such a nice guy but he was a dirty talker in bed and hot hot hot!! I loved the suspense and twist at the end and at about 60% of the book I couldn't put it down.

If it weren't for those few things I mentioned It would've been closer to five stars, I just couldn't get past them though.

A Slice of Love by: Teagan Hunter is available now! Five star review...

Release Date: April 16

Jonas Schwartz isn't just good at playing football. He's also good at playing hearts and four years ago, he played mine like it was the easiest game of his life.

Brokenhearted, I ran off to art school, swearing to forget about my one-off secret weekend with the star quarterback.

I'd heard whispers about his injury, but I never expected Jonas to return to our hometown to rehab his knee, and I certainly never thought he'd show up on the other side of my door with a pizza in hand.

He looks good. Better than before.

Whatever--I'm over him.

I've completely moved on.

I just wish my heart would get the memo...

My Review (ARC provided)
Five Stars!

This little novella definitely packed a punch. I don't usually feel satisfied but this book one hundred percent satisfied me.

I really enjoyed Jonah and Frankie, they had the sweetest story. I love opposites attract stories and these two were so opposite from each other but they were so cute together too. Present-day was hilarious and I loved Frankie's new attitude. The banter was funny and the chemistry was HOT.

There was a particular scene I highlighted that was so good, but I won't spoil it for anyone. It happens when Jonah runs into some old high school buddies at a bar/restaurant. You'll know when you get to it.

Of course, I could always use more because these characters were so easy to want more of, but I'm so happy with the story we got! Now bring on Sully!!

Cover Reveal! Through the Lens by: K.K. Allen

“I had become his muse. What he didn’t know was that he had become mine too.”

Through the Lens, an all-new emotional new-adult standalone from USA Today bestselling author K.K. Allen is coming May 1st, and we have the jaw-dropping cover!

ThroughTheLens_Amazon
Maggie Stevens is done feeling objectified.
After spending her entire life in the spotlight and climbing the high fashion ranks as a model in LA, she’s willing to leave it all behind for a fresh start. Moving to Seattle seems like the perfect solution.
A clean slate.
New adventures.
Endless opportunities.
All is going according to plan. Until she meets the drop-dead gorgeous cooking instructor who delights in adding to her misery.
Desmond Blake is determined to make a name for his culinary school—one that speaks to his hard work and undeniable passion.
When his food photography hobby garners attention from an unexpected source, his dreams are finally within reach. The obstacle he never sees coming is the sharp-tongued bombshell with a distaste for all he stands for.
When Desmond accidentally captures a photo of Maggie during a moment of weakness, he starts to see there’s more to the fashionista than meets the eye…
Sometimes what can be seen through the lens is a skewed version of reality. A bent perspective. Manufactured, therefore losing all sense of authenticity. And sometimes all it takes is a different angle to see what’s right in front of you.

blurb One Moment Please-front-size down That awkward moment when an ER doctor has to inform you that you’re pregnant…with his baby. Three things Lynsey Jones knows about the hot doctor: he’s grouchy, an arrogant jerk, and strangely obsessed with pie. Three things Dr. Josh Richardson knows: he doesn’t talk about his past, he doesn’t do relationships, and the crazy girl in the hospital cafeteria who ate a fistful of French silk pie…is annoyingly irresistible. After a chance meetup at a bar and a heated cab ride together, things come to a head and now instead of hating each other, they’re horizontal in a bed. Three months later, the weird cafeteria stalker who crept out of Josh’s house like a thief in the night, winds up as his patient in the ER after her Tinder date from hell. The doctor is prepared to keep it cool and professional. That is until her bloodwork reveals she’s pregnant. What really throws him for a loop…is the surprise baby…is his.

Five Stars!

I had a vague idea of what this book was about but I’m so glad I went in semi-blind! I fell in love with our heroine Lynsey, she was smart, funny, passionate and bought the best out in people. Her character made me laugh out loud several times. Then we have broody Josh our hero, he’s not the most likable at first but there is something about him that pulls you in, an underlying layer that you need to figure out. This was the perfect opposites attract book, both of these characters fed off each other and made the other one better. I’ll say in the beginning I wasn't sure I wanted Lynsey with Josh but as the book went on they became the perfect couple. There were so many times I was screaming at him in my head and telling him to open up. I love what happened when he finally did. He didn’t have any easy life and it takes awhile for him to look at himself, forgive and heal.

I love love love Lynsey and Kate’s friendship and was so happy to see more of it in this book along with Miles and the gang too. I’m thinking Dean needs a book and hopefully with the baker Norah that was introduced. I also love how Amy throws her love for charcuterie in the book and all chapters of Lynsey have a photo of a cheeseboard…so cute!

This book had me devouring the pages and rooting for the H and h to have more than just an arrangement. I loved every word!

Dr. Josh Richardson never wanted a family, but Lynsey's about to give him one. And if they have any hope of co-parenting, they need to learn how to co-habituate…and try not to kill or kiss each other in the process.

OUT NOW!! The Bachelor Boss by: Sara Ney...Five Star Review!!!

Release Date: April 7

What is The Bachelors Club?
It’s a gentleman’s club—like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we’re not gentleman, and we’re not dignified.

We’re ineligible bachelors, bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually. So committed to being single, we’ve created a high stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest…

Four days co-habitating in a shared work space shouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be distracting. But Spencer Standish saw me puking in a company trash can, and won’t let me live it down. Cheerful, aggravating Spencer, who wants me to fetch her coffee.

As if she’s the boss of me.

And now I’m stuck sharing her office.

Let’s face facts: I can’t be in a relationship; not when there’s a bet to win—not with Spencer, who loves my uncontrollable basset hound, lazy Sundays, and grilled cheese as much as I do. I refuse to fall for her.

will be the last Bachelor standing.

ARC Provided (Kenzie's review)
FIVE STARS!!

As you may know from my book review on the first book in "The Bachelors Club" series I immediately fell in love with the characters. As the first book was telling the story of Brooks and Abbott, this second book follows the story of Phillip and Spencer. Two co-workers who work on opposite sides of the building, who meet in the break room and our brought together when they have to share an office.

At first they annoy each other, but that just might change as they continue to have to share a work space. But Phillip in a strong willed man determined to win the items of being the last man standing in The Bachelors Club. Brooks has already lost so whose next? Phillip?

I devoured this book and highly recommend. I would suggest reading the books in the order so far,so read the "Bachelor Society" first than read "Bachelor Boss"
