I liked this book but I really wanted to love it. Damon and Trihnity's relationship felt very rushed. I wanted to get that off the charts
chemistry and connection but unfortunately I didn't. I really liked the premise
of the story. I liked both H and h but I just wanted more. I 100% understood
her insecurities and jealousy with her relationships. I did think the Preston issue
should've been addressed more and earlier in the story. I felt like her sister
got off too easily and her parents just turned a blind eye, her mother should
have been more apologetic. The whole family thing really frustrated me.
Throughout the story I felt like I was missing something, I
think I wanted more of a back story. I know myself and wish I would've read the
first two books. I realize this is a standalone but I think I would've gotten
more out of this story if I knew more.
Overall this book kept my attention and flowed quickly, it
was a pretty good read but I wanted more passion, more angst, and I wanted to
get to know the characters more, because I really did like them.
