Out Now!! This book is so good! Liar Liar by T. L. Martin

BLURB:

Dirty.

That’s what I am.

Born a dirty little secret and later sold to the worst kind of evil.

That day broke me, stealing the most sacred parts of my body and my soul. So I ran—from them, from home, from everything.

That’s when I found him. He became my savior before he even knew I existed.

And then I was welcomed into the family.

Now he sees me. I make sure of it.

I notice the way he watches me when I slip from my bed and fall into someone else’s. See the heated flicker in his eyes when I peer up at him from behind red solo cups, wandering hands, and blaring music. Feel the burn in his touch when I stumble and he catches me—and he always catches me.

But I’m no longer the same weak girl he discovered hiding behind his house all those years ago, and some demons simply can’t be set free. All the lies in the world can’t hide that.

Even though the same blood doesn’t run through our veins, I know he can never be mine.

I was never supposed to fall for him.

We’re family now, and I’m going to be a good little sister.

Liar, liar, liar.

My Review (ARC provided)
Five Stars!

T.L. Martin is a new author to me and let me tell you she did not disappoint! I got sucked into this story and couldn’t put it down. The hero of this book is what heroes should be, I absolutely loved Easton he was perfection. Eva the heroine was so broken, she made really bad decisions and you wanted to shake her and hug her at the same time. She went from wanting to be invisible, (“I just want somewhere to hide. I’m good at being invisible”) to becoming the talk of the school and not caring what people thought of her. That’s what people thought at least, until we readers get into her head and realize it’s so much more than that.

This book will tug on your heartstrings, it will have you rooting for both of our main characters and it will have you wishing karma will take on quite a few people. This is definitely a tough subject to read about, but it was very well done. Were there a couple of times I needed a minute? Yes, but I dove right back in. The relationship between Easton and Eva is such a sweet one and it began way before she was adopted into the family. I loved seeing the past, to read about how it all started, and getting both perspectives of it. This was not taboo to me, it was fate.

“I was no longer following her in an act of rebellion. I followed because I need her, because I need something real from her, and somehow, she knew.”

Eva hid from herself and her emotions but she couldn’t hide from Easton and slowly she allowed him to see her. I loved how we get to see it happen slowly and the trust start to form, how we see Easton finally get through her thick shell.

“Wild Horses couldn’t drag me away.”

Needless to say, I loved this book, and will definitely read another by this author!
