I have read this whole series from the start, what I love
about Sarah’s characters is that they are always so likable. With this book I
wasn’t sure about Ben, I wasn’t sure if his actions could be justified or he
could be redeemed after what he put his family and friends through. Well I’m
really glad I got to know him in this book because he really had me feeling for
him and feeling for the mess he got himself into. He turned out to be a standup
guy.
I had a soft spot for Juniper from the get go and I couldn’t
wait to see how her story would unfold. I get why she lied and did what she
did, to me that was justifiable because she was scared.
Ben and Juniper had very good chemistry and comradery from
the start. I could see a friendship form and relationship bloom between the
two. They needed each other to heal. I think Sarah wrote that really well. Also
Ben was wise beyond his years which made the age gap between the two not bad at
all.
Sarah writes a great story that has you flipping pages and
before you know it you are done. She flows and entwines the stories and
characters well. Every book in this series does not disappoint, I wish we could
get another one. Hmmm who could it be?
