“I could help you, you know. It would be an investment,” she says, glancing at me from under her eyebrows. She knows my response will be the same as it has the half-dozen times she has asked before. “No, Nana. I’m not taking your money. Thanks, though. I appreciate that you believe in me,” I say, squeezing her hand. “That means more than you know.” “As long as you’re happy, dear,” she says, reaching for another cupcake. “Are you supposed to have two?” I ask her, arching up an eyebrow. She isn’t diabetic and she’s in pretty good health, but I always worry about her. At seventy-eight, I know how important it is for her to eat right so she can stay feisty and keep kicking my ass for a lot of years to come. “The first one was very small,” she says, grinning devilishly as she bites into the second cupcake. This is exactly why I only brought her half, instead of a full dozen. If I brought twelve, she would eat them all, without hesitation, as soon as I was out the door. “I brought my toolbox,” I say. “Got any chores for me?” “Well, if it’s not too much trouble, I might have a couple of things you could do,” she smiles at me. “I won’t keep you all day.” She says, retrieving a notepad on which has scrawled at least seventeen things she needs me to do. I smile as I take it from her hand. “I’m on it, Nana.” “Thank you…. I’m going to go watch my programs,” she says waving her hand in the air as she turns to walk away. “Let me know when you get to page three.” Page three? I flip through the notepad. Yup. Three pages. Fuck. Goodbye, Saturday off.

Another Five Stars!

This series has me wanting more more more of this group of people. Once again T.M. has you rooting for the antiheroes and falling in love.

"Giving yourself to someone completely makes you everything. And that's what we do. What we'll always do. Give ourselves to one another completely. With love, passion, and permission."

We don't get as much darkness as the first two books, but all the darkness in the first two leads us into this book to set up one phenomenal storyline, she throws in a couple of surprises that I didn't see coming, and there are more feel-good moments.

Tricks and Gabby had been through so much, so it was nice to see them come into their own. I feel like if I go into too much detail, I'll be giving away some of the best parts of this book.

It does still take you on a crazy ride and has you wondering how it's all going to turn out for them. I am so happy with the outcome. I squealed a little during the last couple of chapters.

Although Grim and Tricks had a hard time getting to the point where they could be together, it was so worth the ride/read. Grim finds emotions in himself he didn't realize he had.

"It's a strange fucking feeling. Caring by association. I don't even fucking know the girl. Never spoke a word to her. Yet, I hope and wish with everything I am that Gabby will live."

I loved this series, this book, and the characters. I want more!!

Grim’s expression softens. “Let me make you feel good. Let me erase some of the hurt.” He pulls me against him for a searing kiss that makes me want nothing more than for him to be inside of me. Five Stars!

I freaking loved this book! Fell in love with the hero and knew from chapter one I liked the heroine. As with most of Sara’s books, I gobbled this one up and couldn’t take my eyes away. It was fantastic.

Teddy is a smart girl trying to make ends meet. She was raised with no money, goes to college on a scholarship and is just getting by. She is naïve and not really into dating or the whole party scene.

Kip is a smart guy covering up his good looks and wealth with a broody personality and a yeti appearance. He is not into the party scene or dating.

The two meet ironically at a party, and it is awkward, to say the least. They keep meeting and form a plan to get Teddy a date. “Hairy Godmother” to the rescue! That cracked me up.

I loved the dialogue between these two. I was smiling like a freak as I was reading wondering if people thought I was some weirdo. I even caught myself laughing out loud a couple of times (in public). The spark wasn’t immediate, but it lingered, until BAM it hits you hard and then it scorches off the pages. Both Teddy and Kip help each other with their insecurities, and they were the sweetest couple. I also really enjoyed the closeness and bond Kip and his sister had. I thoroughly enjoyed reading their texts.

There wasn’t a whole lot of angst in this one. It’s more about growth and learning to trust but in an amusing way. I. Loved. It.
