Wow this book was complex! It wasn't hard to follow or anything but it had a lot of different elements. It was suspenseful, angsty, romantic, and hot. We had a lot of sexual tension going on between the two MC's and just a lot of tension in general. There was so much strain between Shane's (H) family and the business not to mention his fathers new assistant (Emily). Emily (h) is running from something and has secrets but we don't quite know what is going on. We get little tid bits of info but we really don't know what to think about her.

Shane is a good guy and his family has a lot of secrets in their business that is becoming more and more corrupt. Shane wants to have a clean business and be on the straight and narrow but he can't convince his family to come clean. You don't know who to trust and everyone is a sketchy. Just when Shane thought he may have something, another bomb drops.

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, easy to follow (even though there is a lot going on) and had me wanting more. Shane and Emily had  great chemistry and I can't wait to get more of them. A word of warning though, this does end with a cliffhanger so be prepared.
