Review...Tumbleweed by: Julia Bramer Caution...slight spoilers

TumbleweedI received an Arc for an honest review... 4.5-4.75 stars!

Haley is an eighteen year old photographer that sets out to travel the world and capture it on camera. Shortly after she arrives in Spain she meets famous soccer star Mikel and they quickly fall in love. She catches him being unfaithful after being gone for a night and runs off leaving everything behind. She sinks deep into depression until her best friend comes to visit and sets out to relieve some of her heartache. After some partying and a brief sexual encounter with another soccer player she has found away to numb her pain...drinking and sex.

Haley becomes a shell of the person she was, cruel and indifferent to the world and the people she meets. A few years have past and she's become successful and wealthy. She has traveled the world and is set to explore and photograph Egypt. She meets two Egyptian men that serve as guides and quickly sets out to seduce them. She is successful in her plans but in the height of the revolution something terrible happens and her plan is discovered...

***slight spoiler***

This story was amazing, it was definitely steamy but also very heart wrenching and at times hard to read. The only reason I didn't give it the full five stars was because I hate cheating! I fell in love with Mikel and the love he had for Haley so when he was caught sleeping with someone else it broke my heart.

The writer did an awesome job at character development and my heart ached for Haley while reading this book. There were times I wanted to despise her and the person she became but I couldn't.

Thank you to the author for providing me a copy of this wonderful story!
