going-after-indigo-teaser excerpt1
“What are you thinking about there, Dancing Queen?”
Clearing her throat, she quickly snaps her attention back to him.
“Nothing. I wasn’t thinking of anything.”
“Those blue eyes of yours tell a different story, Ms. Crystalline.”
He takes a step forward and she attempts to step back but can’t because there’s a car there. Duh!
“What … what are you doing?”
“I’m guessing what you and I have both been thinking about despite the aggravation with one another.”
Without another word, his big hands take hold of her face and pull her to him. When their lips meet any protest she may have had is dismissed. Instead, she finds herself lost in his kiss. His lips feel so wonderful against her own and the feeling it conjures starts a burning need to coil inside. His desire to make this kiss more is felt as he presses into her and coaxes her lips to part in order for his tongue to sweep into her awaiting mouth. She doesn’t know which of them moans first but the tremor she feels is all her own.
His hands begin a downward journey and she begins to reach upward to tangle her hand in his hair. When he reaches her taut nipple and gives it a squeeze, she almost convulses in reaction.
How long had it been since Mitchell? Mitchell. Yes, Mitchell. The mere thought of his name causes her body to instantly cool. Still, she reluctantly pulls back from the hungry kiss of the man before her.
“Um … I … hmm. I … I do need something from you. I need a ride home. My … the car … I have a flat tire and no spare.”
The knowing look on his face makes her want to crawl into a hole and hide.
“Don’t look at me like that. Whatever! You’re a damn good kisser. Woohoo for you. You had me for a moment. The moment is over. I … what are you doing?”
His body presses into her again and his hand slides into the front of her jeans. She didn’t think there would be enough room for him to get that big hand of his down there. His fingers glide over her center and she moans. Hearing her reaction to this man was too much. She couldn’t do this, be this person.

One of my favorite authors has a cover reveal today and it is HOT!

Hero Hair
by Rachel Robinson
The second novel of The Real Seal Series
Release Date:  March 16th

Blurb
Everyone knows there is no “I” in team, but to Macs Newstead--orgasm-gifting, muscle-filled Navy SEAL hero--there are more important words than team. Words like victory and vanity and selfishness. People say those words like they are a bad thing, but to Macs, they’re simply tools in his highly effective arsenal. When a man’s entire existence revolves around the necessity to end lives, silly, mundane things like second dates or monogamy seem worthy sacrifices.

Downward facing dog or doggy-style--it’s all the same to Teala Smart, a whip-smart yoga instructor. She owns her studio like she owns her life--with focus, positive energy, and pure devotion. That devotion, however, does not trickle into her love life (or more accurately, her lust life.) Relationships are a roadblock to her success. They get in the way and tangle up emotions more than the lotus pose tangles up limbs. Men are best kept just for a night and then released into the wild before feelings get too messy.

HERO HAIR, the second novel of International Bestselling Author Rachel Robinson’s THE REAL SEAL SERIES, is the account of an life-altering journey detailing the awakening of two hollow hearts, both set on taking their own pleasures without any emotional attachment. The ruthless SEAL finally meets an enemy he can’t defeat, and both Macs and Teala find, against their wishes, and despite atrocious circumstances, a chemistry so explosive it leaves nothing but deconstructing love in its wake.

About the Author

Rachel grew up in a small, quiet town full of loud talkers. Her words were always only loud on paper. She has been writing stories and creating characters for as long as she can remember. After living on the west coast for many years she recently moved to Virginia Beach, VA.

Out Now!! A Thousand Letters by: Staci Hart...spoiler free review.

sbpr-atl-bt

"Lyrical, heartbreaking, and emotionally intense, A THOUSAND LETTERS is a beautiful portrait of an undying love that deserves a second chance."

Melanie Harlow, USA Today Bestselling Author

A Thousand Letters, an all-new emotional standalone by Staci Hart is LIVE!!!

cover-wrap-atl

Sometimes your life is split by a single decision.
I’ve spent every day of the last seven years regretting mine: he left, and I didn’t follow. A thousand letters went unanswered, my words like petals in the wind, spinning away into nothing, taking me with them.
But now he’s back.
I barely recognize the man he’s become, but I can still see a glimmer of the boy who asked me to be his forever, the boy I walked away from when I was young and afraid.
Maybe if he’d come home under better circumstances, he could speak to me without anger in his voice. Maybe if I’d said yes all those years ago, he’d look at me without the weight of rejection in his eyes. Maybe if things were different, we would have had a chance.
One regretted decision sent him away. One painful journey bought him back to me. I only wish I could keep him.
*A contemporary romance inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion*

My Review: (ARC provided)
4.5 stars!

I don't think I've ever quoted or highlighted the first sentence of a book but here it is, "I've never understood why the heart always reacts. A shot of adrenaline is all it takes, triggered by a thought."

That right there had me and then it didn't stop the first 10-15% of the book, my emotions were all over the place and I was already feeling these characters.

This really is a heartbreaking story, but it was a beautiful story too. These characters are faced with something tragic but on top of it also faced with something they weren’t prepared for; they have to acclimate their lives together for the time being and are close again.

Wade (H) made some mistakes when he was young and because of immaturity and spontaneity he screwed up one of the best things in his life.

Elliot (h) made a choice, a choice she thought she had to for her and her family, but that choice ruined everything her and Wade had.

They've managed to avoid each other for seven long years but it is unavoidable now and they need to cope.

This is a story of the growth of two people who desperately loved each other once and our forced to reconnect. It's a story of forgiveness and trust.

This is one of those books that keeps you hanging until the very end. I have so much I want to say but I can't. I have so much highlighted but I can't. You need to experience these emotions and feelings for yourself without it being spoiled.

I'll leave you with this..."Don't let the people you love, the people who make you happy, the people who bring you joy - don't let them go. Hang on to them, even when it hurts."

"There is no length to love; it's infinite. It lives in you always. Hold on to it."

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or
designing graphics. img_8015
